About Us

Our expert contractor/handyman, Mark Buell, has been in the home improvement industry since before there was such an industry. For example, back when his parents wanted a new home…they simply built one. He is a second-generation home improvement specialist, having learned all the trades at his father’s side from an early age. “Work like a gentleman” was his father’s advice – which has proved over the years to be a very good lesson for the then young man.

Buell graduated with a B.S. degree in Marketing. After spending 20 years in the golf business as a PGA member (consecutive with six personal property restoration projects), he became a full-time design consultant for an award-winning home improvement company. He ranked third in sales within his first year.

He later became the sole proprietor of Buell Property Restorations. After relocating to Southeast Massachusetts in 2009, he began working exclusively with Dan Maybruck of Dan Maybruck Plumbing & Heating, Inc. The two formed Maybruck Kitchen & Bath Renovations and began specializing in home improvement in the Greater Southeast Massachusetts area.

The marriage of over 30 years of a brick and mortar operation and office staff with years of hands-on, custom-work building expertise has turned out to be a hugely successful endeavor.

In Mark’s words, “In each home improvement project I do, one of my goals is to be sure the project is all it can be. I am a source of product knowledge and guidance. Most importantly, I try to never lose site of the fact that it is not my home I’m working on. It is only my inherent responsibility to be a sounding board for ideas and to be certain the home owners get what they hope for in their project.”
